Need funds or looking for assistance by the way of education,

supplies or volunteers? We'd love to help!

Accepting Fall Applications now until 5pm October 15, 2025

Our club takes pride in receiving, searching out, researching, and considering proposals for awarding Club assistance to worthwhile civic and community projects whose purposes are within our spectrum of interests and mission statement. Examples of past and current projects include funding school gardens, nature centers, teaching gardens, butterfly garden installations and more.

We make decisions on who to support twice a year--once in the fall and once in the spring. Priority is given to people and organizations within the Oviedo, Florida area. Please keep in mind that all grant recipients are asked to follow-up with a report to grantsoviedogc@gmail.com no later than six months from the notification date of approval. Please consider including the following information:

highlights of what you/your organization have accomplished with the grant money and the activities you’ve implemented so far
the lessons you learned from the project for which funds were awarded
information on your plans for future iterations of the project and how you will sustain it
pictures
hyperlinks, videos and/or newspaper articles

We are currently accepting grant requests for the fall. Please fill out the application form on this page. All requests must be submitted electronically, and must be submitted no later than 5:00pm October 15, 2025. You will receive an email confirmation that your request has been received within 24hrs of receipt.

1. Name of and brief background information about the organization and/or person.

2. Specific description of your project including project objectives, time frame, complete budget information and details about how funds will be spent. (Pictures, plans and maps may be attached and are helpful.)

3. Summary of who will benefit from the proposed project.

4. Are you requesting a monetary grant? If yes, please tell us the amount requested from the Oviedo Garden Club (amounts over $500 should be itemized).

5. Are you requesting club assistance other than funds? This could come in the form of education, supplies, volunteers, etc. if yes, please tell us what would help to make your project a success.

6. Do you have a history of previous help from the Oviedo Garden Club? If yes, please provide a brief description.

7. Other sources of funding or help for the project?
